We are seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to join our company as a Canvasser TEAM LEAD. As part of our Canvassing street team, you are the leader in your area. You establish a team and keep that team motivated. You and your team walk through neighborhoods going door-to-door and to other areas around your location to speak with potential leads about our services. This is an essential part of our lead generation process and outreach strategy, and requires you to have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Canvassers must combine customer service and listening skills with marketing knowledge to have the ability to bridge conversation gaps quickly and confidently. You gather personal data from your contacts and help them determine how they can best benefit from our service offerings. Team Leads receive extra training to help you and your team thrive on a daily basis, and you are expected to pass this training on to your team members. This position best suits individuals that may be considered “people persons'', and are willing to get out in the population. This can be a physically active position so it's best to be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time (or sit for an extended amount of time if using an assistive device, etc.) throughout the workday, although you will do so at your own leisure.
Canvasser (Team Lead) Duties and Responsibilities
● Establish a team of family, friends and community members to canvass with (may be assigned community members by management)
● Distribute and collect Daily Lead Sheets from team members (as needed)
● Mentor team members on how to build rapport and increase lead generation
● Talking to people one-on-one within a targeted neighborhood or locality, generating new business leads with residents
● Collect data on your contacts for future lead generation outreach
● Quickly bridge personal or conversational gaps to create genuine rapport
● Upload new lead information and enter gathered data into company database Canvasser
